Home for the Holidays? Now What?

Home for the Holidays

We’ve shopped and hustled and bustled until our bustle is dragging. And now the family is arriving. What to do? We love our families and we love to have them. Vulture shares a list of board games you may want to check out.  New Bedford, which appears to be the whaling community version of Settlers of Catan, caught my eye.  You gather to build a town, but the real treat is that you are going to go whaling!

CBS News offers a list of binge-worthy television to catch up on, and they are not just CBS offerings. Check it out. I am the consummate binge watcher. I’d much rather watch a whole season at once than to have it strung out over weeks and weeks. I have the attention span of a flea though.

Vogue gives excellent ideas on how to host those holiday parties while maintaining your sanity.

Last, and most certainly not least, share this great place we call home with them. For me, that is the Seattle area. Look for posts on things to do in your area. You may find some places that you’ve not seen as well.

This link is for the folks in my neck of the woods — Seattle. The Visit Seattle website lists their top 25 attractions.

Actually, home for the holidays is really quite a wonderful thing.
